Dr. Helen Hirsch, Jewish author, linguist and journalist, died here yesterday at the age of 68. Born in Vienna, Dr. Hirsch came to this country in 1938 and wrote on a broad range of Jewish subjects for various periodicals. She was secretary of the National Council of Young Israel from 1951 to 1964. She was the author of three books: “The Badge of Sufferance,” “World Famous Jewish Magicians,” and “Suesskind of Trimberg.”
