Mrs. Kate Knopfmacher, Ex-official of World Jewish Congress, Dead

Mrs. Kate Knopfmacher, the first member of the World Jewish Congress staff in its founding period and later administrative secretary of the organization’s New York office, died yesterday in Mount Sinai hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 75. She was born in Berlin and for some time was responsible for the Mexican activities of the World Jewish Congress.
