Secretary of State Dean Rusk and Israel Ambassador Avraham Harman today signed an American-Israeli convention for avoidance of double taxation and to encourage international trade and investment. The signing ceremony took place at the Department of State.
According to its terms, the convention will be brought into force by the exchange of instruments of ratification. It will be submitted to the United States Senate for advice and consent.
