The local authorities in the Polish town of Zambrow have cleared up the site of the burial by the Nazis of 1,000 Jewish victims in Kolake, some five miles from the town, and put up a stone monument in memory of the victims, it was reported here today. The inscription on the moment reads: “This is the burial place of 1,000 Polish citizens — Jews — done to death by the Hitlerite murderers.”
