Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, left here tonight for New York after a one-hour informal talk with Prime Minister Harold Wilson. The talk was described as “friendly” and the Prime Minister’s office said there would be no communique on the meeting.
Mrs. Meir also had a luncheon meeting with a group of leading members of the Conservative Party, and a private meeting with Edward Heath, head of the Conservative Party. Previously she also met with a group representing the British Jewish community. Before her departure she conferred with Foreign Secretary Michael Stewart.
Yesterday, she was in Paris, where she conferred with top officials of the French Government, including Foreign Minister Couve de Murville. She left here tonight for New York, to heard Israel’s delegation to the United Nations General Assembly.
