A total of 1,600 boys and girls are currently members of the 22 Jewish youth clubs sponsored by the Jewish Cultural and Social Association, the Folkstimme, Yiddish newspaper published here, reported.

The newspaper said that the figures were disclosed during a recent conference of leaders of the clubs which offer a program of Yiddish language, Jewish history and Jewish literature, in addition to the usual club activities provided for Polish youth. The club leaders explained that the aim of the Jewish clubs was to implant in members a love for Poland as well as a love for Jewish ness.
