The Soviet Ministry of Posts announced today a new stamp to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Peretz Sternberg, the famous Jewish astronomer, according to a report from Moscow. The Jewish scientist died in 1920 at the age of 54.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
