Funeral services will be held here tomorrow for Charles Goldman, a prominent Jewish industrialist and philanthropist, who died of a heart attack this weekend at the age of 63. Among his major philanthropic contributions were the establishment of the Goldman Wing of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and the gift of the $660, 000 Goldman-Schwartz Art Studios to Brandeis University. He was also a founder of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University.
Mr. Goldman was an industry leader in the drives for the United Jewish Appeal, Israel Bonds and the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of Greater New York. He contributed a number of items from his extensive collection of French impressionist paintings to auctions for the benefit of the UJA.
