The arrival of 100 Nepalese soldiers for para-troop training in Israel was disclosed here today. After spending one month at a military base, they will return to Nepal to form the nucleus of a paratroop regiment and serve as instructors.

Arrangements for the training mission were completed several months ago by Israel and Nepal but implementation was delayed by the refusal of India to allow stopover landing rights to the plane carrying the Nepalese troops. India finally granted the necessary permission last week.
