B’nai Zion Delegation Received by President Johnson; Presents Medal

President Lyndon B. Johnson expressed appreciation to a delegation representing B’nai Zion which called on him yesterday to present a golden medallion symbolizing the group’s “Bill of Rights” award. The President was informed that a forest of trees had been planted in his name in Israel.

The delegation included Rep. Abraham J. Multer, New York Democratic Congressman and national vice-president of B’nai Zion; Edward Sharf, president; former president Norman Levine; Herman uitman, national secretary, and Raymond Patt.
