Tel Aviv Religious Council Opposes Lavish Bar Mitzvah Receptions

The Tel Aviv Religious Council today urged the public here to refrain from holding lavish Bar Mitzvah and wedding receptions. In a statement issued by the Council, the appeal for austerity stated that conspicuous consumption tends toward “general religious and moral decadence.”
