Martin Cohn Named Deputy Director for Government Program in Miss.

Martin Cohn, executive director of the Jewish Welfare Fund and Associated Jewish Agencies of Cincinnati, has been named deputy director of a Head Start program of the Office of Economic Opportunity in Mississippi.

Sargent Shriver, director of the OEO, said the $5, 600, 000 program is sponsored by the Child Development Group of Mississippi, which named the Jewish communal executive deputy director. The AJA and the JWF have granted Mr. Cohn a leave of absence for six months, starting about March 15, to serve the program which will be conducted in 28 counties with an enrollment of 9, 135 children from low income families.
