A complete program guide for the celebration by American Jewish children of Israel’s Independence Day which this year occurs on April 25 has been issued by Pioneer Women, the American Women’s Labor Zionist Organization.
Noting that the celebration is aimed at children but involves the entire family, the guide calls for families to mark the occasion with a birthday cake, a specific ritual of songs, poems and games and special food items.
