U.S. Census Bureau Considers Inclusion Question of Religion in Census

The United States Census Bureau is considering inclusion of questions on religion for the first time in the 1970 census, Bureau Director Ross stated here yesterday. He said that Jews and Christian Scientists remained opposed to the proposal but that Catholic and Protestant groups had asked for such inquiries.
