Revision of history textbooks used in American schools, so that high school students be informed better about Nazism and Hitler Germany, was urged here today in a resolution adopted by the national executive committee of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States.

Milton A. Waldor, commander of the JWV, told the executive committee, currently in session, that the organization has reviewed many history textbooks used in high schools and has found “that Nazism is hardly mentioned.” “We should teach the facts about Hitler’s Reich, ” he said. The resolution, adopted unanimously, urged American educators and textbook publishers and authors “to examine the problem and make the necessary revisions.”
