Dubinsky Lauded in Israel by Histadrut for Role in Labor Goals

David Dubinsky, noted American Jewish labor leader, was lauded here today for his role in advancing American democracy in general and the American labor movement in particular.

Mr. Dubinsky is visiting Israel as a guest of the Histadrut, Israel’s Labor Federation. Aharon Becker, Histadrut secretary general received the visitor. Mr. Dubinsky said in reply that after 60 years of effort in the American labor movement, he could say that the worker is the standard bearer of democracy.
