The Israel Government was reported today to be examining the possibilities of establishing telephonic communications with the United States via the American Early Bird satellite. Israeli post office engineers had been scheduled to begin shortly experiments to establish the quality of such relays via the satellite. The first such experiment had been scheduled for today but it was postponed to a later date for technical reasons.
