A committee of Catholics here reported yesterday that the views of Negroes and Jews are distorted in three geography textbooks used in parochial schools. The distortions, said the committee, were sufficiently serious to warrant a review of all textbooks used in the Pittsburgh diocese. Sponsored by the Catholic Interracial Council, the committee was made up of eight persons, including five members of the Duquesne University.
