Torah Scroll Stolen from Lubavitcher Synagogue in Toronto

A Torah scroll valued at $1,000 was stolen from a downtown synagogue in Toronto on the eve of the Sabbath. The theft was not discovered until a member went to the ark to take out the Torah for the reading ceremony. The synagogue is called the Anshei Lubavitch.
