Dr. Yosef Burg, Israel’s Minister of Social Welfare, attended the inauguration here of Colombia’s new president, Dr. Carlos Lleras Restrepo. Dr. Burg led a special Israeli delegation participating in the inauguration ceremonies. Earlier Dr. Burg had a special audience with the new President, attended a luncheon at the Israel Embassy given by Ambassador Avigdor Shoham in honor of Colombia’s foreign minister Dr. German Zea Hernandez, and participated in services at a synagogue here.
