The Palestine Liberation Army has received light weapon from Communist China and heavy armaments from the Soviet Union, all without cost, Ahme Shukairy, chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization, under whom that anti-Israeli military force operates, told a German interviewer in Cairo.
The interview, published here today in the Bonner Rundschau, quoted Mr. Shukairy as saying that some PLO soldiers trained in Communist China have already joined his forces in the Middle East.
