Johnson’s Personal Envoy Goes to Israel for Desalination Talks

Ambassador-at-Large Ellsworth Bunker, President Johnson’s personal adviser on the proposed American-Israel joint nuclear desalination project, will arrive in Israel on Friday for talks with Prime Minister Levi Eshkol and other officials. Mr. Bunker will examine the status of the long-delayed plan and make recommendations.
