The Union of Italian Jewish Communities called on the Italian Government today to take all appropriate measures to counteract Nazi terrorism in Italy, particularly in South Tyrol.

In a statement warning of the dangers of neo-Nazism and neo-Fascism, the Union’s executive council instructed its president, Judge Sergio Piperno, to make known to competent authorities the organization’s position, and urged Governments and individuals to be watchful and to refrain from attitudes which could appear to be encouragement of neo-Nazi ideologies.
