Philip Klein, co-publisher of the Philadelphia Jewish Times, has been awarded Brazil’s National Order of the Southern Cross, the highest order of merit that can be presented by that country to a non-citizen. In presenting the medal, Ayntron Gil Dieguez, Brazil’s Consul in Philadelphia, cited Mr. Klein for his work president of International House and chairman of the board of Harcum Junior College.
