An Israeli patrol intercepted last night a group of four Arab saboteurs who entered Israel from Lebanon. Israeli officials said the intruders were believed to be members of the El Fatah commando organization.

When the guerrillas were challenged, they fled, leaving behind four kits filled with explosives. A search of the area uncovered a Mark-V anti-vehicle mine near the Shomera settlement. The mine was removed and dismantled. Footprints of four persons crossing the Lebanese border were found near the scene, Israel filed a complaint with the Mixed Armistice Commission.
