A grant of $7,500 was awarded to the American Jewish Historical Society today by the New York State Council on the Arts. The purpose of the grant is to aid the society to catalogue its books, manuscripts and art collection.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
