The United Nations Commission on Human Rights, currently in session here, adopted unanimously this weekend a resolution sharply condemning Nazism and calling upon all states “to take immediate and effective measures against any such manifestations of Nazism and of racial intolerance.”
The resolution had been introduced by Poland, one of the 32 members of the Commission, and included originally also a denunciation of neo-Nazism, aimed at such resurgence in West Germany. But, as finally adopted, the resolution failed to mention neo-Nazism, after amendments eliminating such mention had been co-sponsored by the United States, Britain and France.
