“Ben-Gurion on the Bible,” a half-hour conversation with David Ben-Gurion, will be presented as a CBS News special in color on April 23 (10:00-10:30 AM, EST) on the CBS Television Network, it was announced here today.
The broadcast ranges over a variety of Biblical and contemporary subjects, including the meaning of the Ten Commandments for today, the Bible as literature, the so-called “Is God Dead?” question, the miracles and prophecies, the Holy Book as an archeological tool, and the need for justice and peace as envisioned in the Bible.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
