Revival of anti-Jewish propaganda in Quebec was amplified this weekend as members of the Quebec Legislature received copies of a 64-page magazine format tract which accuses the Jews of being the cause of nearly every crime mankind has ever committed.
The magazine, “La Cle du Mystere” (The Key to the Mystery) tries to present the idea that Jews are themselves responsible for the indictment it contains by quoting Jewish writers and spokesmen extensively — and out of context. At the end of the magazine, the pretense of objectivity is dropped and in the final Conclusions the light of vitriolic hatred and vindictive racism breaks through.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
