A delegation of leaders of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations called on leading members of the Senate and House to urge support for Israel.
The delegation included Dr. Joachim Prinz, president of the Conference, Dr. William A. Wexler, president of B’nai B’rith, Mrs. Mortimer Jacobson, president of Habdalah, Malcolm A. Tarry, national commander of the Jewish War Veterans and others. They reported a favorable response.
