A group of 177 college and university students left today from Kennedy International Airport for a year of study at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. This is the largest group in the thirteen-year history of the One Year Study Program of the American Friends of the Hebrew University and one of the largest programs of its kind.

Dean Hyman Kublin of the City University of New York, chairman of the program’s Academic Committee, said the students come from 69 colleges and universities throughout the United States. They live in 23 states and include students from Canada, Korea, Panama and Peru. The American Friends has this year processed and selected a total of 322 American students for the various programs it conducts in conjunction with the Hebrew University.
