Model of ‘temple of Solomon’ Stolen from New York Synagogue; Called ‘irreplaceable’

A model of the Temple of Solomon, stolen from the House of Sages, an East Side synagogue, was being sought today by police. The 3-by-5 foot replica, weighing more than 200 pounds, was described as “irreplaceable” by Rabbi Julius Newman, spiritual leader of the synagogue.
