Council of Jewish Women to Open Center for Culturally Deprived in Jerusalem

The National Council of Jewish Women has announced that it will establish a center in Israel for research into special methods and materials needed to teach disadvantaged and culturally deprived children and adults. The center, described by NCJW president Mrs. Leonard H. Weiner as the first of its kind anywhere in the world, will be affiliated with the Hebrew University’s John Dewey School of Education, in Jerusalem.
