U.N. Committee Changes Title of Draft Forbidding Religious Intolerance

The General Assembly’s committee on social, cultural and humanitarian matters decided today by a vote of 89 to none against, with one abstention, to change the title of the draft convention “on the elimination of all forms of religious intolerance” to “international convention on the elimination of all forms of intolerance and of discrimination based on religion or belief.”
