The Mayflower Oil Co. of Oklahoma signed up with the Israel National Oil Prospecting Co. today to search for oil near Nathanya on Israel’s coastal plain between Tel Aviv and Haifa. Mayflower is a 10 percent partner in the project and other American oil companies have expressed an interest in joining the venture. The first of three projected drills is expected to begin within three months.
