The American Jewish Committee has published a list of areas of action by which members and Americans generally could help to implement the resolutions of the President’s National Advisory Committee on Civil Disorders.

The organization listed 11 such areas in its newsletter in which it said that it was becoming steadily more recognized that “only a huge, concerted attack on the ghetto crisis — as blueprinted by the commission — will permanently restore safety to our city streets without destroying our civil liberties or tearing the nation apart.”
