Irving Kane is Named American-israel Public Affairs Committee Co-chairman

The election of Irving Kane of Cleveland, former president of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds, as co-chairman of the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee, has been announced by Rabbi Philip S. Bernstein of Rochester, N.Y., Committee chairman since 1954. Mr. Kane has also served as chairman of the National Community Relations Advisory Council. The Committee seeks to maintain good relations between the United States and Israel.
