Netherlands Government Introduces Draft Bill Outlawing Anti-semitism, Discrimination

The Netherlands Government has introduced in Parliament a draft law against anti-Semitism and racial discrimination in general. The bill followed Holland’s ratification of the United Nations convention against discrimination and is designed to improve existing laws which date from 1933. The new legislation would increase the penalties for racial discrimination.
