Rabbi Charles J. Davidson Appointed to Handle UJA Programs on Campus

Rabbi Charles J. Davidson, formerly of Congregation B’nai Israel in Bridgeport, Conn, and the Village Temple in New York City, has been appointed director of special services of the United Jewish Appeal, it was announced today by Rabbi Herbert A. Friedman, UJA executive vice chairman. Rabbi Davidson will be primarily responsible for UJA programs in the academic community and will work in liaison with the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation, Rabbi Friedman said.
