British Ambassador is First Envoy to Speak Hebrew in Credentials Ceremony

Britain’s new Ambassador to Israel, John Barnes, presented his credentials to President Zalman Shazar today and was the first foreign diplomat in the country’s history to go through the formalities entirely in Hebrew, a language he studied in London before taking his new post.
