A Nablus mosque that had been converted into a synagogue for use by Israeli soldiers stationed there was reconverted to a mosque last week. All Jewish religious appurtenances were removed from the premises by order of the Ministry for Religious Affairs after a picture of the mosque as a synagogue appeared in a local newspaper.
