The Jewish Center of Greater Buffalo has established a military information service to inform young men of draft age of their responsibilities and options under the Selective Service Act. According to Mrs. Alvin Small, director of adult and young adult activities, the service provides information on draft classifications, enlistment opportunities in the various services, officer training programs and procedures for requesting deferments and other information. The data was gathered by Jewish Center volunteers from Selective Service offices and recruiting centers.
