First Meeting of Jewish Agency’s General Assembly Slated for 1970, Dulzin Says

The first meeting of the General Assembly, the main governing body of the expanded Jewish Agency, will be held in Jerusalem during the latter part of 1970, the Agency’s treasurer, Leon Dulzin, said here yesterday. Mr. Dulzin, who returned to Jerusalem after a five-day visit to the United States, said it was possible to plan for the meeting because reorganization and enlargement of the Jewish Agency, in accordance with decisions taken at the last World Zionist Congress, have progressed smoothly.

During his visit here, the Zionist official conferred with American Jewish leaders on American representation on the General Assembly. He met with the board of directors of the United Jewish Appeal, the national executive committee of the United Jewish Appeal, the American Section of the Jewish Agency Executive and the American Zionist Council.
