Some 600 Jews of Riga attended memorial services for Jews killed by the Nazis during World War II, it was reported here today. The services were held at the Jewish cemetery the day after Rosh Hashanah. The gathering was addressed by Mrs. Irene Lipshitz who noted that many who participated in the mass murder of Jews are still at large. A memorial to the 5,000 Jews killed in the Latvian town of Rezekne soon after the Nazi occupation was unveiled.
