Hadassah-sponsored Occupational Therapy School Opens on Jerusalem’s Mount Scopus

Israel’s new school of occupational therapy has been dedicated in Jerusalem, it was announced by Mrs. Max Schenk, president of Hadassah, which is sponsoring the school. The school is housed in the Edith and James Ross building on Mount Scopus. It will train therapists to work with paraplegics and victims of shock, stroke, heart disease and other disabling illnesses. The Mount Scopus complex, which Hadassah is rebuilding after 19 years of Jordanian occupation. includes a 260-bed general hospital and the Daniel and Florence Guggenheim rehabilitation center.
