The launching of a special one million dollar medical research fund for the staff at the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem was voted at the Mid-Winter Conference of Hadassah. The urgency of this campaign was stressed in view of the curtailment of research funds from Washington sources, “thus endangering the results of many important research projects.”
