The year’s May 1 Workers’ Day, traditionally a day of non-work, will be a regular working day with income going to aid the special border settlements, the Histadrut Central Committee has decided. In addition, newspapers will publish on May 1 for the first time. The usual Workers’ Day demonstration will not be held, although some kind of rally is a possibility.
