Abba Eban Israel’s Foreign Minister is expected to meet with Secretary of State William P. Rogers to discuss the Middle East situation and to renew Israel’s request for jets during his visit here next week, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned today. Mr. Eban is also expected to meet with Elliot Richardson. Under-Secretary of State, and with Joseph J. Sisco, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs. According to informed sources, Mr. Eban is also expected to meet with “someone in the White House.” There was no immediate indication of who that someone would be, but according to the source “probably not President Nixon.” Mr. Eban will be in Canada for what is described as an official visit before he comes to Washington.
