A high ranking American Air Force delegation arrived last night in Israel to survey the situation at first hand. The delegation’s leader is Deputy Commander of the U.S. Air Force Strike Command, Lt. General James V. Edmundson. The delegation had talks today with the Army’s Chief of Staff General Haim Bar Lev and with Defense Minister Moshe Dayan in the presence of American Embassy officials.
