Former Minister of Transport Ezer Weizman has been showered with job offers since he resigned from the government with Gahal, but he is in no hurry to return to work. First, he has told friends, he will go home to rest and spend some time with his son, Saul, who was wounded on the Suez Canal Front and was released from the hospital just in time to attend the Knesset debate on the American peace proposal which ended with Gahal’s withdrawal from the government. After his rest, he has said, regardless of what the future holds for Gahal, he will return to politics.
